This project consisted of 2 phases. The brewery was the first phase and its curved steel roof was constructed with segmented structural steel frames with steel joists spanning between frames. The mezzanine was constructed with large holes to allow the tanks to extend through the mezzanine in order to give easier access to the tops of the tanks. The mezzanine also allows customers visiting the restaurant a birds-eye view of the brewery. This phase also included a cast-in-place concrete tank to pre-treat effluent from the brewery. The restaurant was the second phase, and the hybrid timber frame was the construction of choice for this stunning restaurant, consisting of glulam beams and solid timber posts. Trees from the property were used to support the roof over the main entrance.

These projects were done while Jared and Danielle were employed at Hardy Structural Engineering.
