The architect sought out our structural services for this home renovation. An existing garage was converted to living space and a second story was added to provide additional bedrooms. The second story cantilevered over the existing first floor exterior walls, and also incorporated a custom built-in gutter system. Steel beams were incorporated to allow the removal of existing bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen area.
