This single-family home is nestled in a river bank and built on ledge. The homeowner wanted to enhance the river views with large glass sliding doors that require steel headers. Tall walls and scissor truss roof construction give the interior vast space, and the trusses were configured to allow ceiling details to mimic timber construction. Exterior patios and a swimming pool on the river bank allow the owners and guests to interact with the river.
